A big thanks to Judy Barie and her staff for assisting me in installing work in the Melvin Johnson Sculpture Garden, at the Chautauqua Institution. RDML and Towitzer will be included in their exhibition, and will be up all summer along with multiple shows in their indoor galleries.
I’m excited and honored to have a new piece installed on the Mon River Trail in Morgantown WV for the next year. There are a number of new pieces from regional artists that are currently going in, and it’s nice to see the city investing in local work. Stop by while jogging on the rail trail, see whats been installed.
A great cross-section of new work by the FSU Intro to Sculpture crew, especially considering I didn’t give them much time to get patterns made and molds packed up this fall. Another big thanks to the Shepherd U sculpture department for having us down to pour and the folks at Quikrete for generously supplying us with a great sand for molds-
If you are in the Slippery Rock area, come see a new two-person exhibition of my work and the work of Christian Benefiel at the Martha Gault Gallery at Slippery Rock University. Opening reception will be from 5-7 on Tuesday, 10/13.
unhinged has been accepted to the 10th National exhibition at Axis Gallery in Sacramento, CA. The juror, Max Presneill from the Torrance Art Museum, selected 53 works for exhibition out of 1334 images submitted by 359 artists. I’m excited to be in such good company, including Kurt Dyrhaug from Lamar University in Texas.
